Punjab National Bank has announced a comprehensive reshuffle of its senior management team, effective April 1, 2026. The strategic move involves 11 key leadership changes across various divisions, including MSME, Data Analytics, Operations, and Regional Zonal Offices. These leadership transitions aim to streamline internal operations and bolster the bank’s focus on digital innovation, credit monitoring, and risk management.

As part of its organizational development, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has introduced a series of role changes for its Chief General Managers and Zonal Managers. This realignment strategy is designed to optimize the leadership structure across its head office and regional branches to better navigate evolving banking demands.
Key Management Transitions
The leadership shifts cover a broad spectrum of critical banking functions. Notable changes include:
- Firoz Hasnain moves to lead the MSME, MCC, and Mid Corporate & Retail division.
- Sunil Kumar Goyal takes charge of Data Analytics & Strategic Innovation.
- Sanjay Gupta assumes leadership of Operations, focusing on ADC, Reconciliation, and Data Privacy.
- Rajesh Prasad transitions to manage the General Banking division and Customer Care Centre.
- Parveen Goyal shifts to lead the Agriculture, Priority Sector, and Financial Inclusion department.
Regional and Operational Updates
In addition to the head office appointments, the bank has updated leadership for several zonal offices. Surindar Pal Singh has been appointed as the Zonal Manager for Jaipur, while Ashish Kumar Chaturvedi takes the helm in Chandigarh. Rajesh Bhowmick has been reassigned as Zonal Manager for Delhi.
