Premier Energies Forms Strategic Joint Venture to Boost EPC Capabilities in Renewable Energy

Premier Energies Limited announced a strategic joint venture with BA Prerna Renewables Private Limited to expand its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) presence in the renewable energy sector. The new entity, HeliosAnthos Energies Private Limited, will see Premier Energies hold a 51% stake, focusing on end-to-end EPC solutions for solar, wind, and hybrid projects across India. This move supports Premier Energies’ strategy to integrate manufacturing strengths with robust execution capabilities.

Strategic Joint Venture Announced

Premier Energies Limited has entered into a definitive agreement to form a strategic joint venture aimed at significantly enhancing its capabilities within the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) segment of the renewable energy industry. This collaboration is with BA Prerna Renewables Private Limited.

Structure of HeliosAnthos Energies

The joint venture will be executed through a newly incorporated company named HeliosAnthos Energies Private Limited. The equity structure is defined as follows:

  • Premier Energies Limited will hold a controlling 51% equity stake.
  • BA Prerna Renewables Private Limited will retain the remaining 49% stake.

The newly formed entity is mandated to undertake EPC contracts across various renewable energy domains, including solar, wind, and standalone battery solar-wind-battery hybrid projects nationwide. The solutions offered will cover the entire lifecycle, including land acquisition, statutory approvals, engineering, procurement, installation, and final commissioning.

Alignment with Corporate Strategy

The formation of this JV is presented as a critical step aligning with Premier Energies’ overarching strategy to deepen its downstream capabilities. It is designed to complement the company’s established integrated manufacturing strengths across the renewable energy value chain.
