The total cell line capacity is expected to reach 10.6 gigawatts by September 2026, aligning with the module capacity and Mission 2028 target. The upgrade is funded entirely through internal accruals at a nominal cost, leveraging design efficiency.
New Order Wins
The company secured new orders aggregating to INR6,511 crores in this quarter. These orders come from top-tier independent power producers across the market.
Acquisitions
Premier Energies Ltd. completed two important acquisitions in the inverter and transformer businesses:
- KSolare: A leading Indian inverter manufacturer focused on the residential market.
- Transcon: The transformer production capacity will increase from 2.5 GVA to 16.75 GVA by April 2026.
These acquisitions are expected to contribute approximately 30% of the company’s revenue over time.
Future Outlook
FY27 is expected to be an inflection point as the company more than doubles its cell and module capacity and generates additional revenues from BSS, inverters, and ingot wafer. The company aims to treble KSolare revenues to approximately INR1,500 crores with 3 gigawatts capacity.
