Premier Energies Commissions 400 MW Solar Cell Manufacturing Facility

Premier Energies has announced the commissioning of a new 400 MW Solar Photovoltaic Cell (Mono PERC) manufacturing facility at its E-City plant in Maheshwaram, Telangana. This expansion is part of a brownfield project, leveraging existing infrastructure and equipment. Post-commissioning, the operational capacity for cells stands at 3.6 GW, strengthening Premier Energies’ position in the solar manufacturing sector.

Expanded Manufacturing Capacity

Premier Energies has successfully commissioned a 400 MW Solar Photovoltaic Cell (Mono PERC) manufacturing facility at its E-City plant, located in Maheshwaram, Telangana. This new facility significantly boosts the company’s production capabilities in the solar energy sector.

Brownfield Expansion

The commissioning is part of a strategic brownfield expansion. This involved the installation of additional equipment, utilizing the Company’s existing infrastructure. This approach allowed for efficient integration and accelerated the timeline for bringing the new capacity online.

Operational Capacity

Following the commissioning of the new cell line, Premier Energies’ operational capacity for cells now stands at 3.6 GW. This enhanced capacity positions the company well to meet the growing demand for high-performance solar cells in both domestic and international markets.
