Premier Energies’ board has approved increasing its solar PV Topcon cell manufacturing capacity in Naidupeta to 7 GW with an investment of ₹502 crore. The company also appointed Mrs. Niyathi Naidu Madasu as Chief Human Resources Officer. The expansion, financed internally, will be spread over FY 2026-27, boosting production through its subsidiary, Premier Energies Global Environment Private Limited.
Capacity Expansion Approved
Premier Energies is set to augment its upcoming Solar PV Topcon Cell manufacturing facility located in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh. The board approved an increase in capacity to 7 GW. This expansion will require a marginal investment of ₹502 crore.
The capital expenditure will be managed through Premier Energies’ wholly owned subsidiary, Premier Energies Global Environment Private Limited, and is planned to be spread over FY 2026–27. This strategic investment will be financed through internal accruals.
Key Leadership Appointment
The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mrs. Niyathi Naidu Madasu as the Chief Human Resources Officer of the Premier Energies Group. This decision follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, effective October 28, 2025.
Financial Performance: Q2 2026
The Board of Directors reviewed and approved the Unaudited Financial Results (Consolidated and Standalone) for Q2 2026, ending September 30, 2025.
Unaudited financial results (standalone and consolidated) have been reviewed by M/s Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Statutory Auditors.
