Contract Details and Operational Scope
The 5-year engagement involves the comprehensive maintenance and operation of India’s only straddle monorail system, which has been operational since 2014. PMPL will manage the entire 19.54 km route, encompassing 17 stations. The scope of work is extensive, requiring the operation of new advanced rolling stock and the management of upgraded Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signaling systems, ensuring high-reliability service for daily commuters.
