Piramal Pharma announced changes in its senior management personnel (SMP) and key managerial personnel (KMP), effective January 28, 2026. The Board has appointed four new SMPs, including a Chief Quality Officer, President for Mergers & Acquisitions, General Counsel, and Chief Human Resource Officer. Additionally, Ms. Tanya Sanish has resigned as Company Secretary, and Ms. Pratibha Mishra has been appointed as Interim Company Secretary.
Senior Management Appointments
Piramal Pharma has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of four new Senior Management Personnel (SMP), effective January 28, 2026:
- Ms. Rashida Najmi: Chief Quality Officer
- Mr. Jatin Lal: President – Merger and Acquisitions
- Mr. Sandeep Rathod: General Counsel
- Ms. Puneet Rajput: Chief Human Resource Officer
These appointments aim to strengthen the company’s strategic capabilities in key areas such as quality control, mergers and acquisitions, legal affairs, and human resources.
KMP Transition
The company also announced the resignation of Ms. Tanya Sanish from the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective close of business hours on February 20, 2026.
To ensure a smooth transition, Ms. Pratibha Mishra (ACS No. 53432) has been appointed as the Interim Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective February 21, 2026.

Ms. Rashida Najmi brings over 26 years of experience in quality management across various regulatory agencies and dosage formulations.
Mr. Jatin Lal has over 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, and strategy, with prior experience at Stern Stewart, GE Capital, and NOCIL.
Mr. Sandeep Rathod oversees legal and compliance functions. He previously worked with J.B. Chemicals and Mylan (Viatris).
Ms. Puneet Rajput carries over two decades of experience in pharma, telecom, life sciences, and consulting. Prior to Piramal Pharma, she worked with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Vodafone, and Wockhardt Ltd.
Interim Company Secretary Profile
Ms. Pratibha Mishra has over a decade of experience in handling corporate secretarial and compliance functions. Before joining Piramal Pharma, she worked with CEAT Limited and CARE Ratings Limited.
