Pidilite International Pte. Ltd. (PIPL), a subsidiary of Pidilite Industries, has formed a new joint venture in Tanzania named ‘Pidilite Insignia Limited’. The JV was incorporated on February 24, 2026, in partnership with Insignia Limited. The entity will focus on the business of construction chemicals and waterproofing material. PIPL will hold a majority stake of 55% in the new company, with Insignia holding the remaining 45%.

Pidilite Industries Limited has officially announced the incorporation of a new joint venture company in Tanzania. This strategic move was executed through its wholly-owned Singaporean subsidiary, Pidilite International Pte. Ltd. (PIPL), in collaboration with Insignia Limited, a Tanzanian company.
Company Details and Objectives
The newly formed entity is named “Pidilite Insignia Limited” (or ‘Pidilite Insignia’). The official date of incorporation was 24th February 2026. The primary business objective of this joint venture will be to carry on the business of construction chemicals and waterproofing material within the region.
Equity Shareholding Structure
The capital structure of Pidilite Insignia reflects a majority stake held by the parent company’s subsidiary. PIPL will hold 55% of the paid-up share capital of the joint venture. The balance 45% will be held by Insignia Limited. The Company Secretary, Manisha Shetty, confirmed these details in the official intimation.
