Petronet LNG Limited’s Board has declared an interim dividend of ₹7 per share for the financial year 2025-26. Revenue for the second quarter (Q2: Jul-Sep) of the fiscal year saw an increase, with total income reaching ₹11,246.25 crore. The company also reported a profit before exceptional items and tax of ₹1,082.66 crore for the same quarter. The results were approved at a board meeting held on November 7, 2025.
Financial Performance
Petronet LNG reported a total income of ₹11,246.25 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, compared to ₹13,223.38 crore for the same quarter last year. Profit before exceptional items and tax stood at ₹1,082.66 crore, while profit after tax was reported as ₹805.75 crore.
For the half-year ended September 30, 2025, the company’s total income was ₹23,368.44 crore, with a profit after tax of ₹1,656.33 crore.
Interim Dividend Announcement
The Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of ₹7 per share on equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each, for the financial year 2025-26. The record date and payment/despatch date for the dividend will be intimated separately.
Use or Pay (UoP) Dues
Trade receivables include ‘Use or Pay’ (UoP) dues amounting to ₹1,392.68 crore (gross) and ₹656.84 crore (net), after a provision of ₹735.84 crore. These dues arose from lower capacity utilization by customers under long-term regasification agreements.
The company has implemented a recovery mechanism for UoP dues pertaining to CY 2022 and CY 2023 and has obtained bank guarantees from some customers.
