Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has successfully achieved well control at Well Mori-5, completing the capping operation in just five days. This marks a significant achievement in blowout response and operational excellence for the company.

Incident Details

The blowout occurred on January 5, 2026, during service operations conducted by PEC contractor M/s Deep Industries Limited. ONGC immediately activated its in-house Crisis Management framework, deploying specialized manpower and equipment to contain the situation rapidly and safely.
