NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CtrlS Datacenter Limited to explore opportunities for developing Renewable Energy (RE) projects. The agreement aims to establish 2 GW or more of RE RTC (Round-The-Clock) power for CtrlS Datacenters across India. NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, and CtrlS Datacenter Limited have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 31, 2025, in New Delhi. The partnership focuses on exploring business opportunities in the renewable energy sector to power CtrlS’s datacenters.
Projected Capacity and Scope
The MoU aims to develop Renewable Energy (RE) projects with a capacity of 2 GW or more. The focus is to supply RE RTC (Round-The-Clock) power to CtrlS Datacenters located across India, supporting their energy requirements for captive consumption.
