This newly operational capacity belongs to the 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project. The project is situated in the state of Gujarat and is being executed under the CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III framework. The operational component is managed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited.
Impact on Total Installed Capacity
The integration of this 14.43 MW asset results in an immediate upward revision of the group’s total operational capacity. Prior to this declaration, the current commercial capacity for the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stood at 8813.25 MW. With this addition, the total installed capacity across the Group is now substantially increased to 8827.68 MW.
