NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced that the ninth part capacity, consisting of 13.98 MW, of the 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project located in Gujarat has commenced commercial operation.
Key Project Details
The project is part of the CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III. Commercial operations began on December 30, 2025, at 00:00 hrs.
Capacity Increase
With the addition of this 13.98 MW capacity, the total installed capacity of the NGEL Group will increase to 8,010.28 MW. The commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 7,996.30 MW before this addition.
