NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced the declaration of commercial operation for the second part capacity of 125 MW out of the 500 MW Bhadla Solar PV Project located in Phalodi, Rajasthan. The commercial operation is effective from January 31, 2026. Following this addition, the total installed capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group will increase to 8813.25 MW.
Bhadla Solar Project Update
NTPC Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced that the second part capacity of 125 MW out of 500 MW Bhadla Solar PV Project located in Phalodi, Rajasthan, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 hrs of 31.01.2026.
Increased Capacity
The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 8688.25 MW. With the addition of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group will increase to 8813.25 MW.
