This capacity is part of a larger 92.4 MW wind project in Bhuj, Gujarat, through Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited. NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the commencement of commercial operations for a portion of its wind energy project. This announcement was made on October 23, 2025.

Capacity and Location

The newly operational capacity is 9.9 MW of wind energy. This is part of a larger 92.4 MW wind project located in Bhuj, Gujarat. The project is operated through Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private.

Impact on Total Capacity

With this addition, the commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group now stands at 7553.675 MW. Following this addition, the total installed capacity of the NGEL Group has increased to 7563.575 MW. This reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio.
