NMDC Limited Record-Breaking Performance in Q2 & H1 FY26

NMDC Limited has announced record-breaking physical and strong financial performance for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly production and sales volumes, accompanied by robust financial results. The strong performance reflects NMDC’s operational efficiency and favorable market conditions, positioning it well for continued growth.

Record-Breaking Physical Performance

NMDC Limited reported its best-ever physical performance in Q2 FY26, with production reaching 102.08 LT, a 23% increase compared to the same quarter last year. Sales volumes also hit a record high of 107.16 LT, representing a 10% increase year-over-year.

Financial Highlights for Q2 FY26

The company’s financial performance for Q2 FY26 also demonstrated significant growth. Revenue from operations increased by 30% to ₹6,261 Cr. EBITDA surged by 32% to ₹2,385 Cr. The average sales realization was ₹4,973/T. Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose by 35% to ₹2,271 Cr, while Profit After Tax (PAT) increased by 33% to ₹1,694 Cr.

H1 FY26 Performance Overview

NMDC also showcased robust results for the first half of fiscal year 2026. Production volume reached 174.74 LT a 27% increase and sales jumped to 198 LT with a 12% increase. Average iron ore sales realization increased to ₹5,082/T.

H1 Financial Performance

Revenue from Operations for H1 reached ₹10,184 Cr a 27% increase, with a PBT of ₹4,316 Cr and a PAT of ₹3,253 Cr.

Major Investments

NMDC has total investments in Subsidiaries, JVs & Associates of ₹1,302.68 crore. This includes investments in NCL, BRPL, NCF, Krishnapatnam Rly Co. Ltd, ICVL and Legacy Iron Ore.
