NALCO’s Board of Directors has approved the award of the MDO contract for the Development and Operation of Pottangi Bauxite Mines to M/s. Dilip Buildcon Limited. This project includes the Overland Conveyor Corridor (OLCC) and related facilities. The base mining charges are set at Rs.423.00 per ton for a period of 25 years. The decision was made during a board meeting held on December 9, 2025.

The Board of Directors has given the green light to the award of the MDO (Mine Developer and Operator) contract for the Development and Operation of Pottangi Bauxite Mines.
Contract Details
M/s. Dilip Buildcon Limited has been selected as the contractor. The scope includes the Overland Conveyor Corridor (OLCC) and associated facilities. The mining charges have been agreed at Rs.423.00 per ton, with a contract duration of 25 years.
Board Approval
The approval occurred during the board meeting held on 09.12.2025. The meeting commenced at 1500 Hours and concluded at 1730 Hours.
