Samvardhana Motherson International has finalized its joint venture with Egtronics Co. Ltd., a company incorporated under the laws of South Korea. This collaborative effort aims to produce cutting-edge vehicle electronics for the clean mobility sector. The completion of this venture occurred on January 07, 2026, marking a key milestone for both companies.

Focus on Clean Mobility Electronics

The primary objective of this joint venture is to design, develop, manufacture, and assemble a wide range of clean mobility related vehicle electronics. Key products will include, but not be limited to, DC-DC converters, auxiliary inverters, traction inverters, on-board chargers, and power distribution units. These components are designed for application in the automotive sector and other related industries.

Equity Shareholding

Following the completion of the transaction, the equity shareholding structure reflects Samvardhana Motherson’s majority stake. The Company holds 51% of the equity, with Egtronics holding the remaining 49%. This structure allows Motherson to take a leading role in the strategic direction of the joint venture.
