Further investment of USD 1.5 million is planned based on achieving agreed milestones.

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) announced on October 29, 2025, its decision to invest in Rider Dome Pte Ltd, a company focused on designing and developing proprietary technology solutions, specifically Rider Assistance Systems (ARAS) for the two-wheeler segment. The initial investment totals USD 0.5 million.

Investment Details

The initial investment of USD 0.5 million is structured as follows:

  • USD 0.2 million in primary equity, securing a 10% stake in Rider Dome.
  • USD 0.3 million in 12% optionally convertible secured notes.

SAMIL will invest through its subsidiary, MSSL (S) Pte Ltd. (“MSSL-Singapore”).

Future Investment

Subject to the successful completion of agreed financial and commercial milestones by FY 2028, Samvardhana Motherson plans to further invest USD 1.5 million in 12% optionally convertible secured notes, across multiple tranches. This could lead to a majority stake, dependent on business performance.

Rider Dome develops a Rider Assistance System (ARAS) for two-wheelers, providing real-time alerts to prevent collisions. Their technology includes blind-spot detection, safe distance monitoring, front collision warnings, and driving behavior analysis. The company also provides a fleet management platform.
