AKM Kashyap has been appointed as a Government Nominee Director on the Board of MMTC Limited, effective December 16, 2025. This appointment is pursuant to an office order dated November 25, 2025, from the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
Profile of AKM Kashyap
AKM Kashyap, approximately 58 years old, holds an M.Sc. (Chemistry) degree. He is currently working in the Department of Commerce. From 2024, he has been overseeing AEG Wing, RTI Cell, and FT (State & Mineral Wing). He previously served as a Deputy Director in DGS&D and has held positions in Calcutta, Bhillai, and Delhi. He also served as Director (Clothing) in Hqr. DG, NCC from October 2019 to March 2024.

AKM Kashyap is not related to any of the current directors of MMTC Limited. The appointment was made by passing a resolution by circulation on December 16, 2025.
