Mastek (UK) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mastek Limited, announced on February 27, 2026, that it has been awarded a significant service contract by the UK Home Office. The engagement is a five-year term (inclusive of two optional years) focused on Engineering, Integration, and product development services related to the Home Office’s Biometrics Portfolio.

Contract Value and Scope

The overall budget for this strategic partnership is pegged at circa £49 million/$67 million+. The services will be delivered across domains including Policing, Forensics, Justice, Migration, and Borders Policy, providing managed specialist engineering and cloud platform support.

Mastek will be instrumental in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Home Office’s flagship Biometrics Services Gateway (BSG) and the National DNA Database (NDNAD) systems. These foundational systems manage critical functions such as Passport and Visa applications, Study and Asylum routes, and DNA Search and Match caseworking.
