This marks the third consecutive year the company has surpassed the 2 million-unit milestone. The impressive growth was driven by record annual domestic sales of 1,861,704 units and a robust export performance of 447,774 units, highlighting the company’s sustained dominance in the Indian automotive sector.

Maruti Suzuki demonstrated strong growth momentum throughout the fiscal year ending March 2026. The company achieved historic highs across three major categories: total sales, domestic sales, and exports. By crossing the 2 million-unit sales threshold for the third year in a row, the manufacturer continues to solidify its leadership position in the competitive domestic passenger vehicle market.
March 2026 Performance Breakdown
During the month of March 2026, the company sold a total of 225,251 units. Domestic passenger vehicle sales accounted for 166,219 units, showing consistent demand across its portfolio. The Utility Vehicle segment, featuring popular models like the Brezza, Ertiga, and Grand Vitara, remained a significant contributor with 71,356 units sold during the month. Meanwhile, the compact car segment—comprising models such as the Baleno, Swift, and WagonR—maintained steady volume with 71,789 units.
Export and OEM Contributions
The company’s export wing achieved remarkable success with a total of 447,774 units exported during the fiscal year, reinforcing the global appeal of its India-manufactured lineup. Additionally, sales to other OEMs reached 113,235 units for the full year, providing a significant boost to the company’s overall revenue streams. These figures reflect a successful year of operations and a strong outlook for the company’s continued growth in both local and international markets.
