Lemon Tree Hotels Limited today confirmed the signing of a License Agreement for a new property, Lemon Tree Resort in Lonavala, Maharashtra. This signing is set to further strengthen the company’s leisure portfolio in one of Western India’s most sought-after getaway destinations.
The new resort will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. Lonavala’s appeal stems from its scenic landscapes, favorable climate, and proximity to major hubs like Mumbai and Pune, attracting steady weekend travel, destination weddings, and corporate offsites.
Property Details and Strategic Focus
The forthcoming resort is planned to be a boutique offering, featuring 50 well-appointed rooms. In addition to accommodation, the facility will include essential amenities such as a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, spa, and a fitness center.

The company currently has 15 operational properties in the state with 14 more in the pipeline, including this latest signing.
