This addition, managed by its subsidiary Carnation Hotels Private Limited, expands the company’s footprint in the state to 28 hotels (15 operational and 13 in the pipeline). The new 55-room hotel underscores the group’s strategy to deepen presence in emerging regional centers.

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has secured a new hotel signing in Akola, Maharashtra, further consolidating its presence in one of India’s key economic states. The agreement is for the property to be operated under the Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels brand.
This signing marks a strategic move to align portfolio expansion with evolving business and regional travel demand, particularly in emerging regional centers beyond the primary metros.
Details of the Akola Property
The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The hotel is set to feature 55 well-appointed rooms, complemented by essential facilities including a restaurant, banquet hall, conference room, fitness centre, swimming pool, and spa.
Akola, situated in the Vidarbha region, is recognized as a significant commercial and agricultural hub. The location offers good accessibility, being approximately 265 km from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and 4.4 km from Akola Junction railway station, catering effectively to corporate and trade visitors.
Portfolio Growth Metrics
With this new addition, Lemon Tree Hotels now has a total of 28 hotels in Maharashtra. This portfolio comprises 15 operational properties and 13 properties in the pipeline.
