On April 2, 2026, Lemon Tree Hotels announced the signing of a license agreement for a new property in Simara, Nepal. This strategic move is part of the company’s broader goal to capture demand in high-growth gateway cities and emerging transit hubs. With this addition, Lemon Tree’s portfolio in Nepal will grow to seven properties, comprising two currently operational hotels and five projects in the pipeline.

The new Lemon Tree Hotel, Simara is designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers. The property will offer 98 rooms and a comprehensive suite of amenities, including a multi-cuisine restaurant, an expansive banquet and conference room, a lounge, and various recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre. Located just 2 km from Simara Airport, the hotel is positioned as a primary transit point for travellers visiting the region.
