Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road Project

The Transportation Infrastructure business vertical of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant order for the Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road project. The announcement was officially made on December 29, 2025.

Project Details

This order relates to Phase-2 of the Greenfield Radial Road, involving the construction of a 22.3 km 3+3 lane access-controlled radial road located in the Ranga Reddy district. According to the release, this project falls under the ‘Significant’ category based on its contract value.

Scope of Work

L&T’s responsibilities encompass a range of construction activities, including:

Construction of a 3.6 km long viaduct.

Building minor bridges, underpasses, and culverts.

Construction of service roads on both sides.

Implementation of extensive retention structures.

Installation of a storm water drainage system.

Construction of footpaths and a cycle track.

Landscaping works.

Strategic Importance

This project marks the first of several planned radial roads designed to connect Hyderabad’s outer ring road with the upcoming regional ring road. It aims to enhance regional connectivity and support overall growth by improving access to key areas like IT hubs, Electronic City, the Young India Skills University, and the Bharat Future City.
