His prior senior roles include CIO – Global Payments at Barclays and Head of Retail Banking Technology at JPMorgan. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Poona and is known for driving modernization programs.
Profile of Head – Innovation and AI: Mr. Aravamudham (Vijay) Narayanan
Mr. Narayanan brings approximately 24 years of technology leadership experience from organizations such as Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Medscape WebMD, and Merrill Lynch. His expertise lies in large-scale engineering, cloud services, API platforms, and infrastructure-as-code. At the Bank, he has been instrumental in deploying the Transaction Authorization System (TAS) and driving the adoption of the AI strategy.
