KNR Constructions Awarded Provisional Completion for Kerala Highway Project

KNR Constructions has received the Provisional Certificate of Completion for the Six Laning of the Ramanattukara Junction to the start of the Valanchery bypass section of NH-66 in Kerala. The project, executed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, was completed on July 18, 2025. The initial project cost was ₹2367.50 crores.

KNR Constructions Limited is pleased to announce the receipt of the Provisional Certificate of Completion for a significant highway project in Kerala. The project involves the Six Laning of the Ramanattukara Junction to the start of the Valanchery bypass section of NH-66. This marks a key milestone for the company and reinforces its commitment to infrastructure development.

Project Details

The project encompasses the section from Design Chainage 258+818 (Ex. km 27.840 of Kozhikode bypass) to Design Chainage 298+500 (Ex. km 304.250) in the state of Kerala. This initiative was carried out under the Bharatmala Pariyojana and structured as a Hybrid Annuity Mode project.

Key Dates and Costs

The appointed date for the project’s commencement was January 21, 2022, with a construction period of 1275 days, including an extension of time (EOT) of 365 days. The scheduled completion date, including the EOT, was July 18, 2025, which is also the date of provisional completion. The initial bid project cost was ₹2367.50 crores.
