Kaynes Semicon Private Limited, a subsidiary of Kaynes Technology India Limited, has announced two strategic partnerships with AOI Electronics Co., Ltd. (Japan) and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Japan). The partnerships focus on strengthening semiconductor manufacturing in India. This announcement was made on December 16, 2025.
Partnership with AOI Electronics
Kaynes Semicon has entered a technology collaboration with AOI Electronics. AOI brings expertise in Advanced Packaging, Panel-Level Packaging, and Wafer-Level Redistribution Layer (RDL) technologies. This collaboration enables Kaynes Semicon to deliver turnkey back-end semiconductor solutions to customers in automotive, industrial, consumer electronics, and communication sectors.
According to Mr. Raghu Panicker, CEO of Kaynes Semicon, the collaboration is a leap forward in building high-value semiconductor capabilities in India and strengthens the company’s ability to serve the global semiconductor value chain.
Partnership with Mitsui & Co.
Kaynes Semicon has formed a strategic alliance with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. This partnership will provide Kaynes Semicon with access to critical raw materials, including lead frames, molding compounds, die attach materials, specialty gases, and semiconductor-grade chemicals. This supply chain collaboration is aimed at mitigating global disruptions and supporting the creation of a self-reliant semiconductor ecosystem in India.
Mr. Panicker stated that the association with Mitsui ensures a robust supply of key materials, which is vital for semiconductor manufacturing.
