Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has partnered with the National Finance Olympiad (NFO) to launch a financial literacy program for students, named “KVB Vidya.” The initiative aims to educate underprivileged students in grades 9-12, reaching over 3,150 students in 210 schools. The program includes a structured curriculum with study materials and examinations, offering certificates and medals for achievement. The partnership began in September 2025.
Financial Literacy Initiative Launched
Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has introduced a Financial Literacy Awareness Program for school students under its CSR initiative, “KVB Vidya”. The program is in partnership with the National Finance Olympiad (NFO) and focuses on promoting education and equipping young learners with essential financial knowledge and skills.
Program Details
The program is designed for government and underprivileged school students from Grades 9 to 12. It covers 210 schools and benefits over 3,150 students. The program features a structured financial literacy curriculum supported by physical study materials, online and offline examinations to assess learning outcomes. Students receive certificates and medals for their performance.
Collaboration and Execution
The collaboration commenced in September 2025 and is structured as a project-based partnership for the year 2025. KVB is funding and coordinating the program, while NFO manages the study materials, examinations, and overall execution. KVB will also provide additional financial literacy resources and awareness sessions to participating students.
