JSW Steel Reports Strong Q3 FY26 with Record Sales and Robust EBITDA

JSW Steel announced its Q3 FY26 results, highlighting record-high quarterly saleable steel sales of 7.64 million tonnes. Revenue from Operations reached ₹45,991 crores. Reported EBITDA was ₹6,496 crores, with a Net Profit after Tax of ₹2,410 crores. Operational Performance

Crude Steel Production for Q3 FY26 was 7.48 million tonnes, up 6% YoY. Domestic sales stood at 6.59 million tonnes, reflecting an increase of 10% YoY. Exports increased by 53% YoY, contributing 11% to sales from the Indian operations.

Strategic Developments

JSW Steel announced a strategic joint venture with JFE Steel for its Bhushan Power and Steel Limited (BPSL) steel business. JFE will take a 50% stake in the BPSL Steel business. This transaction will enable a cash inflow of ₹32,000 crores and deleveraging of ₹37,000 crores for JSW Steel.

Standalone Performance

On a standalone basis, the company’s revenue from operations was ₹32,127 crores. Adjusted EBITDA was at ₹4,227 crores and Profit after Tax stood at ₹757 crores for the Quarter.

Subsidiary Performance

BPSL registered Crude Steel Production of 1.0 million tonnes and Sales volume of 0.98 million tonnes. Revenue from Operations and Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹5,770 crores and ₹611 crores, respectively. BPSL reported a Profit after Tax of ₹1,578 crores for the quarter.

Expansion and Projects

The JVML-Vijayanagar project was fully commissioned and the plant has ramped up to full capacity. The company expects to spend ₹15,000-16,000 crores during FY26 on capital expenditure.
