Details of the GST Dispute

The original matter stemmed from a notice dated September 24, 2025, which concerned the issuance of multiple E-Way Bills for the same invoice during the period from April 2019 to March 2020. The initial demand included a total of Rs. 21,03,822/-, covering tax, applicable interest, and penalty under Section 74 of the CGST/SGST Act, 2017.

The Company promptly submitted its detailed response, including all supporting documentation, within the stipulated timeframe.

Final Resolution and Outcome

The Assistant Commissioner of GST and Central Excise, Division – 1, Gwalior, reviewed the submitted documentation. The Company received the final order, dated March 9, 2026, on March 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Critically, the order confirmed that the demand amount assessed against the Company is Nil.

As a direct consequence of this ruling, the original Demand Notice issued by the department has been annulled. This signifies a complete resolution of the specific litigation matter without any financial liability or impact on the entity’s financial position.
