Shri Nand Gopal Khaitan, aged seventy-four years, is an Attorney and Advocate practicing in the Calcutta High Court and the Supreme Court of India. He is a Senior Partner at M/s Khaitan & Co. He passed the Attorneyship Examination from the Calcutta High Court in 1974. He was conferred Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) by the National Institute of Technology, Sikkim.

Experience and Expertise

He has been President of the Indian Council of Arbitration, New Delhi and is a Former President and Chairman of the 125th Anniversary Celebration Committee, Bharat Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata. Shri Khaitan has over 50 years of experience in law and has been a speaker at various seminars and symposiums.
