ITI Limited Receives ₹16 Crore Earnest Money Deposit for Land Procurement

ITI Limited has received an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹16 Crores on January 28, 2026, from the Central Goods and Services Tax Department (CGST). This deposit represents 2% of the indicative land value as per DPE/NLMC norms. The funds are related to the procurement of a plot admeasuring 21 acres in K.R. Puram, Bengaluru, during FY 2025-26.

Earnest Money Receipt

ITI Limited has announced the receipt of ₹16 Crores as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) on January 28, 2026. The deposit was received from the Central Goods and Services Tax Department (CGST), Government of India.

Purpose of the Deposit

The EMD represents 2% of the indicative value as per DPE/NLMC norms. This is in relation to obtaining valuation from NLMC for the procurement of a plot admeasuring 21 acres of land, located in K.R. Puram, Bengaluru, during the FY 2025-26.

Final Valuation

The final valuation of the land will be determined by NLMC. After the CGST Department completes its transactions with the company, the EMD amount already paid will be adjusted against the final transaction value.
