INOX Wind Secures 229 MW New Wind Power Orders

INOX Wind has secured new orders for 229 MW of wind power projects, including repeat business from key renewable energy players. The orders include approximately 160 MW from a leading Indian IPP and 69 MW from a global clean energy company. These projects encompass limited-scope EPC and multi-year O&M services, strengthening INOX Wind’s position in the renewable energy sector.

New Order Details

Inox Wind Limited (IWL) announced it has secured orders aggregating to 229 MW, reinforcing its position as a preferred partner for renewable energy developers. The announcement was made on November 6, 2025.

Order Breakdown

The orders include approximately 160 MW from a leading Indian IPP player for the supply of its 3.3 MW wind turbine generators. This 160 MW order includes an option to extend by an additional 48 MW. Additionally, Inox Wind secured a repeat order for 69 MW from another leading renewable energy player, which is part of a large global clean energy company.

Project Scope

Both orders include limited-scope EPC services and multi-year operations & maintenance (O&M) services. The 69 MW project will be located in Maharashtra. The new orders enhance the company’s project pipeline and reaffirm its market position.

Executive Commentary

Mr. Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO Renewables, INOXGFL Group, stated they are delighted to have received significant orders totaling 229 MW. He highlighted that these orders demonstrate confidence in their technology, execution capabilities, and service excellence.

Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO, Inox Wind Ltd, added that the order inflows are strong endorsements of their advanced 3 MW class turbine technology. He also mentioned advanced discussions with other customers, with a target to close FY26 with a net order book covering execution plans for the subsequent 18-24 months.
