Infosys Strategic Collaboration with Anthropic to Drive Enterprise AI Value

Infosys announced a strategic collaboration with Anthropic, an AI safety company, to develop advanced enterprise AI solutions. The partnership will integrate Anthropic’s Claude models, including Claude Code, with Infosys Topaz offerings. The initial focus is on launching a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence in telecommunications to build agentic AI tailored for complex, regulated industries.

Strategic AI Collaboration Announced

On February 17, 2026, Infosys, a global leader in digital services, and Anthropic, an AI safety and research company, announced a strategic collaboration. The goal is to develop and deliver advanced enterprise AI solutions targeting companies across telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, and software development.

The partnership will commence with the launch of a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence focused on building and deploying AI agents specifically tailored for the telecommunications sector, before expanding to other industries.

Integration of Leading AI Technologies

The core of this collaboration involves integrating Anthropic’s Claude models, specifically including Claude Code, with the existing Infosys Topaz AI offerings. This integration aims to enable enterprises to automate complex workflows, accelerate software delivery, and adopt AI solutions while maintaining the necessary governance and transparency required by regulated industries.

A major focus area will be agentic AI—systems capable of independently handling multi-step tasks such as processing claims or managing compliance reviews. Infosys and Anthropic will leverage tools like the Claude Agent SDK to build AI agents that can work persistently across long, complex business processes.

Industry-Specific Applications

The collaboration outlines specific benefits across targeted sectors:

  • Telecommunications: AI agents will modernize network operations, streamline customer lifecycle management, and improve service delivery in a highly regulated environment.
  • Financial Services: Agents will assist in faster risk detection, automated compliance reporting, and delivering personalized financial advice based on full client histories.
  • Manufacturing and Engineering: Claude will accelerate product design and simulation, reducing R&D timelines by enabling engineers to test more iterations before physical production.
  • Software Development: Teams will use Claude Code to write, test, and debug code. Infosys is already deploying Claude Code within its internal Exponential Engineering organization to build best practices.

Executive Commentary

Dario Amodei, CEO and Co-Founder of Anthropic, stated that closing the gap between a demo AI model and one suitable for regulated industries requires deep domain expertise, which Infosys possesses across telecom, finance, and manufacturing.

Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys, emphasized that the collaboration is a strategic leap toward advancing enterprise AI, enabling organizations to become more intelligent, resilient, and responsible by leveraging the joint expertise to accelerate AI value realization globally.
