In addition to serving as General Counsel, Mr. Vardhan has been designated as a Senior Management Personnel of the Bank. He brings significant expertise to this role.
Professional Background
Anand Vardhan has approximately 26 years of experience in the legal field. Before joining IndusInd Bank, he served as the Group General Counsel at Piramal Group. He has a proven track record in legal documentation, litigation/ dispute resolution, stressed accounts management, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships. His prior experience also includes positions at SUN-Apollo Ventures, HDFC Property Fund, ICICI Bank and Tata Housing.
Educational Qualifications
Mr. Vardhan is a graduate of Hansraj College and holds a law degree from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
