In his new capacity, Mr. Mallareddy will serve as a key member of the senior management team, leveraging his deep expertise to oversee the bank’s retail banking operations, credit initiatives, and risk management frameworks.
Professional Background and Expertise
With a career spanning over three decades, Mr. Mallareddy brings a wealth of knowledge to IndusInd Bank. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Business Officer at Piramal Finance Limited. His impressive track record includes significant leadership tenures at Axis Bank Limited, where he held the position of Head – Retail Lending.
His broader professional journey includes notable stints at several prominent financial institutions, including ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Prime, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, and Bajaj Auto Finance. Mr. Mallareddy holds a Master of Business Administration from Andhra University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Osmania University.
