Srivastava brings over three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry and has held key positions within IOC, including leading the Corporate Strategy Group. New Leadership in Marketing
Saumitra Priya Srivastava has been appointed as the Director (Marketing) of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) effective October 3, 2025 (afternoon). This appointment follows a letter from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOP&NG) and marks a significant addition to IOC’s leadership team.
Experience and Background
Srivastava is a Civil Engineer from IIT, Roorkee and holds an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. With over three decades of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Shri Srivastava has contributed to downstream operations, marketing, and strategic planning, including serving as the State Head for Maharashtra.
Key Contributions
Prior to this role, Srivastava led the Corporate Strategy Group, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and streamlining operations. He was instrumental in the rollout of SPRINT, a company-wide transformation programme launched in April 2025, to foster agility and innovation.
