Indian Oil Partners with Maruti Suzuki to Expand Service Network at Fuel Stations

Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Maruti Suzuki India Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish Maruti Suzuki service facilities at select Indian Oil fuel stations nationwide. The collaboration aims to provide customers with convenient access to scheduled maintenance and minor repairs for Maruti Suzuki vehicles while refueling, enhancing customer experience and creating a seamless service process. This partnership leverages Indian Oil’s extensive network and Maruti Suzuki’s service expertise.

Strategic Alliance for Enhanced Customer Convenience

Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Maruti Suzuki India Limited have formalized a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The core objective of this collaboration is to significantly improve customer convenience by establishing Maruti Suzuki service facilities at strategically chosen Indian Oil fuel stations throughout India. The official announcement was made on January 12, 2026.

Scope of the Service Expansion

This integration will enable Maruti Suzuki customers to conveniently access scheduled periodic maintenance and also cater to minor repair needs for their vehicles. This will allow customers to access car service where they refuel, making the process far more efficient. Indian Oil’s wide network of over 41,000 fuel stations, combined with Maruti Suzuki’s service expertise, will help facilitate this initiative.

Mr. Saumitra P Srivastava, Director (Marketing) at IndianOil, stated that this partnership reflects IndianOil’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through value-added services. He emphasized the unique position of IndianOil, with its extensive network, to bring essential services closer to consumers.

Mr. Ram Suresh Akella, Executive Officer (Service) at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, highlighted the company’s goal to simplify car servicing for its customers. He noted that leveraging IndianOil’s network will extend after-sales service to easily accessible locations, creating a superior customer care experience.
