  • Joint Commissioner, Customs and Central Tax, Hyderabad GST Commissionerate, Hyderabad

Chennai Order

The order from the State Tax Officer, Mandaveli Assessment Circle, Chennai confirms a demand of ₹54,99,013 in GST, along with interest of ₹42,08,779, a penalty of ₹5,49,902, and late fees of ₹1,150.

Vijayawada Order

The order from the Deputy Commissioner (ST), No.III Division, Vijayawada, confirms a demand of ₹32,66,23,411 in GST, along with interest of ₹21,72,89,579 and applicable penalties.

Hyderabad Order

The order from the Joint Commissioner, Customs and Central Tax, Hyderabad GST Commissionerate demands ₹2,22,86,214, applicable interest, a penalty of ₹22,70,316, and late fees of ₹37,350.

Company Response

The orders relate to alleged short payment/non-payment of tax and excess Input Tax Credit claims for the financial year 2021-22. India Cements is currently reviewing the orders, considering all available legal options, and intends to contest the demands.
