The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced key leadership changes effective mid-February 2026. Mr. Beejal Desai, Executive Vice President and Group Company Secretary, will superannuate on February 12, 2026. Following this, the Board has appointed Ms. Melisa Alva as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective February 13, 2026.

Superannuation of Key Executive
Mr. Beejal Desai, serving as the Executive Vice President – Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary (Group), is set to superannuate from the Company’s services. His last day of service is confirmed as February 12, 2026.
Appointment of New Company Secretary
Effective the following day, February 13, 2026, the Board appointed Ms. Melisa Alva (Membership No. A34774) to the role of Company Secretary, designated as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). Simultaneously, Ms. Alva assumes the responsibilities of the Compliance Officer, effective February 13, 2026.
Profile of Ms. Melisa Alva
Ms. Alva brings a strong background in governance and compliance. She is an Associate Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds both a Bachelor of Law degree and a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai. Her professional tenure includes over a decade of experience in company law and governance. Prior to joining IHCL, Ms. Alva was associated with Tata Steel Limited.
