The quarter’s PBT was impacted by an exceptional item related to the Labour Codes notified by the Government of India. The company is focusing on improving profitability and expanding market reach in Q4.
Financial Performance Overview
For Q3 FY26, IFB Industries’ revenue grew by 12%, aligning with the previous quarter’s 11.5% growth, reaching ₹1382.10 crore. However, PBDIT saw a 10% decrease, standing at ₹80.90 crore compared to ₹89.65 crore in the corresponding period last year. This resulted in a PBDIT margin decline to 5.8% of revenue.
PAT also decreased by 29% to ₹24.51 crore. Prior to arriving at PBT, an incremental liability of ₹13.38 crore has been recognized as an Exceptional Item due to the Labour Codes notified by the Government of India.
Segment Highlights
The Washer segment experienced subdued growth, while ACs saw a 15% volume increase. Refrigerators delivered a 66% growth due to a low base.
YTD Performance
YTD revenue growth stood at 10%. The Top Load category recorded growth of 21% while Front Load grew at 4%. ACs experienced a 5% volume de-growth, while Refrigerators grew by 75%.
YTD PBDIT declined slightly to ₹253.35 crore, resulting in a PBDIT margin of 6.3%.

Home Appliances Division
The Home Appliance division achieved revenue of ₹1101.62 crore, with PBDIT at ₹51.96 crore. Segment-wise sales show Front Loaders contributing 34% and Top Loaders 15%.
Engineering Division
The Engineering Division reported revenue of ₹242.73 crore and PBDIT of ₹33.19 crore. The division booked new business of ₹91 Crores for Q3 FY26.
Steel Division
The Steel Division’s revenue was ₹47.74 crore with PBDIT at ₹3.28 crore, showing an improvement in profitability.
Motor Division
BLDC motors for washing machines have been commercially produced, with over 300,000 motors supplied. Air conditioner motor supplies have also begun.
