ICICI Prudential Increases Stake in InterGlobe Aviation to Over 5%

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has increased its shareholding in InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. to over 5% of the company’s paid-up capital. The acquisition, completed on December 30, 2025, involved the purchase of 499,726 equity shares. ICICI Prudential clarifies that this investment is for investment purposes only and not aimed at gaining control of the company.

Increased Shareholding

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has acquired an additional 499,726 shares of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. on December 30, 2025. This acquisition has resulted in the fund’s total shareholding exceeding 5% of the paid-up capital of the company.

Details of the Acquisition

Before this acquisition, ICICI Prudential held 19,043,963 shares, representing 4.93% of the total shares. With the new purchase, the total holding increased to 19,543,689 shares, now representing 5.06% of the company.

Investment Perspective

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has stated that the acquisition is purely from an investment perspective. The fund clarified that the increase in shareholding is not intended to seek any controlling interest in InterGlobe Aviation Ltd.

Share Capital Details

The equity share capital/total voting capital of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. before and after the acquisition remains at ₹3,865,905,980, comprising of 386,590,598 shares with a face value of ₹10 each.
