Hyundai Motor India has announced changes to its senior management. Mr. Unsoo Kim is stepping down as Managing Director, effective December 31, 2025, and will be replaced by Mr. Tarun Garg, starting January 1, 2026. Additionally, Mr. Jeongick Lee, Mr. Hyoung Soon Yoon, and Mr. Jae Wan Ryu will be resigning from their respective Function Head positions, also effective December 31, 2025.
Leadership Transition
Mr. Unsoo Kim will be resigning from his position as Managing Director & Director of Hyundai Motor India Limited, effective December 31, 2025. He is returning to South Korea for a new strategic role within Hyundai Motor Company.
Effective January 1, 2026, Mr. Tarun Garg has been appointed as the new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Function Head Resignations
Several Function Heads are also departing from the company, all effective December 31, 2025:
