Garg’s Background and Experience
Tarun Garg brings over 32 years of industry experience, with expertise in sales, marketing, distribution, financial management, product strategy, and brand communication. He has been instrumental in HMIL’s success, achieving record sales for three consecutive years and completing India’s largest IPO in 2024.
Succession and Future Strategy
The current Managing Director, Unsoo Kim, will be returning to Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) in South Korea. Mr. Kim expressed strong confidence in Tarun Garg’s leadership. Tarun Garg’s strategic focus will be on future strategy, market and people centered approaches, customer orientation, and further impetus to ‘Make in India’.
