HUDCO Signs MoU with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority for Infrastructure Projects

Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) on October 24, 2025. The MoU aims to establish cooperation for exploring collaboration in existing and upcoming infrastructure development and financing & refinancing of port infrastructure projects at JN port. The estimated amount for these projects is Rs.5,000 Crore.

Partnership for Port Development

HUDCO and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) have formalized a collaborative agreement to enhance infrastructure development. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place on October 24, 2025, setting the stage for joint efforts in upgrading port facilities.

Focus Areas of the MoU

The core objective of this MoU is to foster cooperation between HUDCO and JNPA in exploring opportunities for collaboration. The partnership will focus on:

  • Existing infrastructure development
  • Upcoming infrastructure projects
  • Financing and refinancing of port infrastructure

These projects are specifically targeted at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JN Port). The estimated financial commitment for these infrastructure projects amounts to approximately Rs.5,000 Crore.
