Hindustan Unilever Integrates ESG Committee with Corporate Social Responsibility Committee

Hindustan Unilever has integrated its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Committee with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee, effective October 24, 2025. The newly integrated committee, known as the CSR-ESG Committee, will oversee the company’s initiatives, disclosures, and compliance related to both CSR and ESG. The committee will be chaired by Mr. Tarun Bajaj.

Committee Integration

Hindustan Unilever announced the integration of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee. This integration is effective from October 24, 2025.

Responsibilities of the Integrated Committee

The integrated CSR-ESG Committee will be responsible for overseeing the company’s initiatives, disclosures, and compliance related to both CSR and ESG matters. This strategic move aims to streamline oversight and enhance the company’s focus on sustainable and responsible business practices.

CSR-ESG Committee Composition

The CSR-ESG Committee will consist of the following members:

  • Mr. Tarun Bajaj: Non-Executive Independent Director (Chairman)
  • Ms. Neelam Dhawan: Non-Executive Independent Director (Member)
  • Mr. Ranjay Gulati: Non-Executive Independent Director (Member)
