Important Notice to Shareholders

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is initiating the mandatory transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority as per regulatory requirements.

Unclaimed Dividends and Share Transfer

This transfer concerns shares for which dividends have remained unclaimed or unpaid for a continuous period of seven years, starting from the First Interim Dividend 2018-19. According to the guidelines, HAL is obligated to transfer these shares to the IEPF authority’s demat account.

Action Required by Shareholders

Shareholders who have not claimed their dividends for seven consecutive years are strongly encouraged to take immediate action. HAL has already sent individual communications to the concerned shareholders. To claim the unclaimed dividend amounts and prevent the transfer of shares, shareholders must submit all the required documents to the Company’s Registrar and Share Transfer Agent by March 10, 2026.

Transfer Timeline

If a valid claim with all necessary documents is not received by the specified date, HAL will proceed with the transfer of shares and corresponding dividends to the IEPF authority in April 2026, without further notice. After the transfer, shareholders can still claim their shares and dividends from the IEPF authority, and detailed information on the process can be found on the IEPF website (www.iepf.gov.in).
