Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported its strongest year-on-year dispatch performance for February 2026. The company dispatched a total of 558,216 units during the month, marking a robust ~44% growth over the 388,068 units dispatched in the corresponding period last year. Furthermore, VAHAN registrations showed an 18% Y-o-Y growth, totaling 458,346 registrations.

Segment Performance Highlights

The strong volume performance was primarily attributed to continued momentum in the Scooter segment, bolstered by refreshed models like Xoom and Destini. The 100cc – 125cc motorcycle segment also recorded impressive growth, significantly boosting overall volumes. Total motorcycle dispatches reached 499,756 units in February 2026.

VIDA Scales Up with 3X Growth

Hero MotoCorp’s emerging mobility business, VIDA, demonstrated accelerated growth, recording a three-fold increase in its market share compared to the previous year. VIDA logged 12,514 VAHAN registrations in February 2026, signaling increasing electric mobility adoption among consumers.

Global Business Maintains Double-Digit Momentum

The company’s Global Business segment also expanded its reach, achieving a dispatch growth of ~34%, shipping 41,248 units in February 2026 compared to 30,772 units in February 2025. This international growth was largely driven by positive consumer response to the company’s premium portfolio.
